Meet Ashley Curran
Ashley studied health science and fitness at Keene State College in Keene, NH and graduated with a B.S in Health Science. A lifelong competitive athlete, Ashley competed on both the soccer field and the basketball court. In college, she became assistant to the Strength Coach and her fascination with exercise physiology and kinesiology was born. Summers were spent training college athletes and her love for exercise became a passion.
After three years training competitive athletes, Ashley shifted her focus to the general population. She wanted to work closely with people training them one-on-one to establish goals in fitness, weight loss, strength, flexibility and more. Ashley connects with her clients both personally and emotionally. She builds relationships and uses this connection to challenge her clients to reach the best of their potential.
To Ashley, the only thing more gratifying than training is her family. Her daughter Madison and her husband Colin bring her more joy than she ever imagined possible.
Ashley’s Favorite Workout
“I am sure some of the world may think I am crazy but my favorite workout to do on my own is what I have named, “the burpee challenge!” It is exactly what it sounds like, lots and lots of burpees. I grab myself a stop watch and start with 1 burpee. In the time it took do that burpeee I recover. Then I move to 2 burpees and continue going up this ladder all the way to 10! Once I hit 10 I work my way back to 1. Why do I love this workout? Because its a ton of WORK! Work equals force times distance. Burpees are a lot of work and get the job done! I also love it because it requires absolutely no equipment and it works ever muscle in the body, especially my heart!”
